The Investment

Photography has always meant so much to me — but it wasn’t until I married my husband, Kaden, that I truly understood just how priceless it is. Our wedding day was full of joy, sacred promises, and the sweetest in-between moments. Now, when I look at our photos, I’m instantly taken back to the way he looked at me, the laughter we shared, and the peace of knowing we were stepping into a life long commitment together.

I started photography in 2016. My very first session was for a family from my church. They paid thirty five dollars, and I delivered over one hundred photos that I had poured my whole heart into. Even then, I knew this work mattered and that preserving people and seasons of life would always be important to me.

I have always been an over deliverer, especially when it comes to family photos. To me, documenting families is about capturing life as it really was. The movement, the connection, the ordinary moments that end up meaning the most. Family photos do not need to be stiff, and they should never feel like something you put off until the last minute. Photos leave a legacy, and I believe they deserve to feel honest, warm, and full of life.
