I am so grateful you're here!

I’m Mattea, the heart and hands behind the camera. If you’re here, it probably means you’re planning a wedding or elopement, which is such a beautiful and important season.

I’ve had a love for imagery for as long as I can remember. I still picture my dad with a camera in hand, taking photos and filming my sister and me. Some of my favorite childhood memories are sitting in our basement, watching the dozens of VHS tapes he recorded, memorizing every frame. That early love for preserving memories has only deepened over the years. I photographed my first wedding as a teenager, and since then this passion has grown into a career marked by purpose, creativity, and a deep sense of calling. I truly credit the Lord’s hand in every step of this journey — photography has never been just a job to me, but a way to serve and create with intention.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me curled up watching a good movie with my accountant, aka my husband, Kaden, snuggling our kitten Blair, hunting for treasures in a thrift store, or making an at-home latte like the wannabe barista I am. And above all, I love Jesus — He is the reason I do what I do.
